Day 2 in Denver was just as amazing as the first. We woke up, got ready, and headed to the cutest brunch spot — Linger. I loved how the place was designed, and the food was outstanding as well.
After brunch, we wandered around the area and popped into some shops that were near the restaurant. Every thing in every store was so cute, picturesque, and photo-worthy… I couldn’t get enough ❤ (( I left this trip with so much interior-design inspiration! )) After shopping for a bit, we ate ice cream and stumbled upon a fashion truck! (( Picture a food truck-sized truck, but with clothes, keepsakes, and accessories inside. I didn’t take a pic but I wish I would have! ))
After ice cream, we were off to the next surprise place…
Rhizome Apothecary! This place was DREAMY. Here we relaxed, made our own essential oil blends, drank teas, took selfie-stick photos, and created our own unique tea blends as well. The woman who assisted us with the oil and tea blends was helpful, sweet, and knowledgeable, and I was blown away by this experience. The tea blend I ended up with is delicious, and my essential oil roller ball is a mix of Rosemary + Ylang Ylang, and I keep it on me at all times now! I’ve been putting a dot on my wrists or on my temples, and I LOVEE the smell. On top of everything, this place was immaculately decorated. Every square inch was so stinkin cute.
^^ Katie, Kiana, me, and Abby! ^^
Next up, we stumbled upon a 4-level Restoration Hardware, and we wandered around all 4 impressively finished floors. The best part, in my opinion, was this 2-story mirror wall with giant shimmery-chandeliers! In the afternoon sun, there were rainbow reflections EVERYWHERE.
I think I’ll need to be making a little more money before I will be decorating with this line 😉
That night, we had dinner at Ophelia’s, the restaurant that sits just below the hostel. Good food and live music, too 🙂 We spent a while here and then sat out on the hostel balcony for a couple hours!
More of Denver coming your way soon 🙂 Thanks for reading!! XO, E
