Day 3 in DENVER!

Day 3 in Denver was so bittersweet.  We packed a lot into our last day and had a lot of fun, but I was so sad to say goodbye to Denver and fly home.  BUT, like I said, we did pack a lot into our final day in Denver, starting with a trip to the Red Rocks Park + Amphitheater!  I’ve seen photos, but it was so cool to see the Red Rocks venue in person! (( I would love to see a show there!! )) When we first got there, the wind was brutal, and none of us were adequately dressed.  We spent a little time in the gift shop and history section of the main building, and did a little hiking when the sun finally peeked out 🙂

** note: this park and the venue are open 24/7! There were people exercising, picnic-ing, having coffee with friends… I thought that was so cool! ** I also love that there are so many trails that run off of the central venue area.  We did a little hike around, after some selfies of course!
After a hike, we headed back to the hostel to pack up.  We passed an awesome Denver mural on the way, and had to snaps some pics 🙂
We had a bite of lunch at this adorable retro diner, and then it was time to head back to the airport. A huge thanks to once again to my ladies who accompanied me on this awesome getaway, and who will stand next to me while I say “I do” in just a couple of months! I’m so lucky to have all of you, and I’m so glad we could do this trip together! ❤
Thanks for reading!! Next up is a post on Hostel Fish! XOXO – E
