farmers market saturdays

Good morning + happy Saturday! Conor and I just got back from the Broad Ripple Farmers Market so I thought I’d share a few pictures! This has become our Saturday morning tradition, and I look forward to it every weekend 🙂 It’s not huge, but it has a great selection of vendors, booths, and food trucks, and it literally takes 3 minutes to walk there from our front door.  Today, we got flowers (a staple item), sweet corn (we’re going to try to grill it tomorrow!), a loaf of pumpkin bread (I’m not one of those ‘pumpkin is only a fall flavor’ kind of person), and a brownie/slice of confetti cake for our weekend treats!

^^ The cooking AND presentation talent at the Taste Cafe booth is out of this world~ ^^

Once I plated everything on our cake stand when we got home, it was too cute not to take a pic… or 2 🙂 See below~

Even if we don’t buy anything, it’s still fun to walk around and look at what’s new, and to see all of the dogs and puppies!  They’re everywhere and we saw some especially cute ones today.  The displays and booths are really sweet too… especially the ones with flowers 🙂 I always gravitate towards the big, fluffy, quirky bouquets and I have been so lucky in getting 3 now for great prices!! I told Conor that flowers need to be my new weekly thing 🙂 I LOVE them in our house and I love looking over and seeing the little pop of colors they add.  The bouquet this week was a steal at only $5.

Other than eating those desserts at some point, I am going to do a little workout this afternoon and then we are planning to check out the Broad Ripple Carnival tonight! I thought it was a kids thing at first but Conor says they have a Biergarten and adult stuff too so we’re going with a few of our friends.  I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!! ❤ Thanks for reading! XO, Emma
