CALIFORNIA DAY 4 | VENICE

Day 4 was another incredible and fun-packed day ❤ This day was the Saturday of Labor Day weekend so I walked down to the Hermosa Beach pier in the morning.  I was down at the pier by 7AM or so and there were so many people already out on the beach doing activities.. I was so impressed!  It was perfect weather and I remember really enjoying that morning… walking the pier, calling Conor to fill him in on the first few days and then getting coffees and banana bread with B once she joined me at the beach ❤ What a perfect morning ❤

After that, we headed to Venice for the day! You guessed it.. another picture perfect little pocket of LA~ This one had a different feel than all of the other areas, too! I love that each community has its own personality.  We wandered around the canals and the beautiful homes on the water channels… what a dream it would be to live in that area! Then we popped over the beach/boardwalk/skate park/retail blocks… it was all so cute.  I know I’ve said the word cute about 100 times but California really is so stinking cute OK?!! 🙂

Similarly to how I felt in downtown LA, I was so inspired in Venice!  The California aesthetic is all too real and I am all about it!

Thanks so much for reading and look out for days 5 + 6 in the next post 🙂 Much love and HAPPY FRIDAY! XO -Emma
